Maintenance considerations depend on the materials used. Wood decks require regular cleaning, staining, and sealing, while composite decks need less maintenance but should still be cleaned regularly to maintain their appearance.

Composite decks are typically made from a blend of wood fibers or mineral/plastic materials, creating a durable and low-maintenance decking option. Unlike traditional wood decks, they resist rot, warping, and insect damage and do not require staining or sealing.

Composite decking offers longevity, minimal maintenance, and resistance to weathering and pests. It also comes in various colors and styles without the need for painting or staining.
